Campaign „Stand up and do something to end poverty now!“

Students of BA supported the UN campaign „Stand up and do something to end poverty“ which has been founded by the UN Secretary General Koffi Annan 8 years ago to support Millenium Developing Aims. The campaign has a great popularity in the world and has a lot of supporters every year. Students of Business Academy are among them and almost one hundred volunteers from this school supported the campaign by expressing their voices. They loudly and creatively reminded the world leaderst their promise from the year 2000 – Millenium Declaration of Developing Aims. Students in their campaign said: „We won´t sit or be quiet and look at poverty in the world! We want the world leaders to work hard and try to beat poverty in the world!“
Students had a workshop about the issue of poverty, created the videofilm with their acoustic attitudes. They also prepared the radio programme for the students of the school and showed everyone that they are familiar with problems of the world and that their heart beats for Millenium Developing Aims.
